Sunday Brunch Club |
The Sunday Brunch Club with Simon from Sublime Dining is proving very popular – and it is advisable to book in advance to make sure you get a table to enjoy the same day English newspapers and a classic brunch menu. Our bartenders have also concocted some hangover cures to see you happy and back on the slopes ASAP. Breakfast/brunch is served from 9am to 1pm and costs 12€ for members. | The Monday Rum Club |
The Rum Club will be held just 12 times this season at The Clubhouse – starting on Monday 08 January and then running on every Monday throughout Jan, Feb and Mar (ending on 26 Mar) from 5-7pm. Each week there will be a free tasting of a particular brand or style of rum – neat as well as in a small selection of cocktails tailored around its individual flavour. If you’re a local, the idea is to taste your way slowly through every one of our (currently [30]) rums. If you’re just in town for the week, we’ll hopefully introduce you to something you won’t have tried before but will be drinking for evermore! The Rum Club was first started in 2003 at Trailer Happiness in Notting Hill, London and has since grown in to several chapters in many parts of the UK as well as in Sydney, Melbourne, Amsterdam and now Chamonix. It began as a celebration of Rum/Rhum/Ron from around the world by a group of enthusiasts and has since grown in to an important launch pad for the dozens of new and old brands now coming to market. If there is anything new or newly available, we’ll have it. |
| Big Wednesday |
We’ve got so much going on every Wednesday at The Clubhouse that we’ve decided to call it ‘Big Wednesday’. Rare whiskies - Every evening will kick off from 6-8pm with a Whiskey tasting. We recently bought some fine and rare old Scotch to add to our already large collection of whiskies from around the world – Irish, American and Japanese. Each week we will have a free tasting of a selection of some of our favourites. The plan is for this to become a relaxed and informal way for you to take your Wednesday aperitif by enjoying the different styles and types of whiskey we stock. The first tasting will begin at 6pm on Wednesday 10 Jan. Big Bowl – Each week we’re doing a Big Bowl of something good for 18€. Think Beef & Ale Pie with Savoy cabbage, Shepherd’s pie, Thai chicken curry … and don’t forget dessert. Big Bowl of Punch – If you’ve missed out on the Whiskey tasting our bartenders will have organised an alternative for you: each Wednesday we’ll have a Big Bowl of Punch on the go to make sure you can enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail on us. And if that isn’t enough, the evening will continue with some relaxed lounge sounds from 9pm to 2am with local DJs Nick Hoax and Uncle Joe (who will play on alternate Wednesdays for the rest of the winter season).
