| Snow and Lifts |
| |
| With the excellent early snowfall we’ve had it’s shaping up to be one of the best starts to the season in Chamonix for a long time. The latest weather report from The Ski Club of Great Britain yesterday, described Chamonix as ‘gloriously sunny’ with ‘very good piste conditions’. There’s well over a metre of new snow on the upper slopes and the low temperatures predicted for the rest of December should preserve the great conditions. Eleven lifts were open giving access to twelve pistes at the start of the week with the official opening of the whole ski area this Saturday (22 Dec). Bring it on! |

| Christmas and New Year Dining |

| Head Chef Mark Webb has been busy creating some seasonal menus to make Christmas and New Year a gastro extravaganza at The Clubhouse. |

- Christmas Eve -We’ll be serving a delicious French inspired menu in two sittings at 7pm and 9pm on 24 Dec. Think shellfish bisque, roast halibut and lemon crème brûlée for 30€ per person.
- Christmas Day -There’ll be a mouth watering five course feast on Christmas Day served from 4pm. You can view the full menu here.
- Boxing Day -Join us on 26 Dec for a grazing menu of cold meats and light salads such as rare roast beef with horseradish crème fraîche, poached salmon with dill pickle and avocado, walnut and mixed leaf salad. Lunch is served from 4pm and it’s 30€ per person.
- New Year’s Day -Our New Year’s Roast is from 4pm; big and hearty with all the trimmings for 35€ per person.

| New Year’s Eve |
| |
| As in previous years this is bound to be a brilliant evening plus we’ve got The Player’s resident DJ Michael Cook flying in to play the tunes. We’re fully booked for dinner but there are still some tickets for the party from 10pm-2am. Tickets are 25€ with a glass of champagne included and are available from Sandie. We may have some more space later on in the evening for walk-ins, best to call on the night to check.. |

| Sunday Brunch |

| Our regular Sunday brunch line up continues like last season – pancakes with fruit, eggs Benedict, the essential Full English and more, all served up by chef Simon Sutcliffe from Sublime Dining. Brunch is served every Sunday from 8am to noon. |

| Largely due to a couple of cancellations, we still have some last minute availability for the next couple of weeks. All rates shown are in EUROs per room and include breakfast AND dinner. |
