Ski conditions
We’re having a typical spring here in the valley – the conditions on the mountains are great though the lower runs are beginning to close as the snow is melting. It’s the best time to get a tan as you ski, though that does ruin the chances of sneaky long weekends away from the office.

Après ski
As the skiing conditions are better in the morning, nights finish earlier and April becomes the après-ski month. Members are invited to our skibee-freebie served every day at The Clubhouse between 4-6pm outside in the sunshine on the terrace. 

Breakfast
Sunday’s at The Clubhouse are always brilliant, but now they’re about to get even better. Starting on Sunday 9 April, we’ll be serving a proper English Breakfast to accompany the newspapers that we get sent out. Weather dependent, we’ll be serving this on The Clubhouse Terrace as the food is cooked in the giant alfresco pan between 10am - 1pm. Bloody Marys will be available to sort you out from the night before and set you up for an afternoon on the snow. Breakfast will be free for Clubhouse members and €6 for non members.

Live Music and DJs
Saturday 22 April sees The Clubhouse play host to DJ VEE from Elephant Records. Vee is coming in from London to play a 5 hour set and we’ll be firing up The Clubhouse BBQ for members and your guests between 7-9pm.

The Hoax are coming back to The Clubhouse after their storming set after the Boss des Bosses. They’ll be playing on Tuesday 25 April from 7pm and this is the only chance you’ll get to see them here this month. Clubhouse members will get priority access to this event so please bring your membership card for easy entry. This will be our end of season party, and The Clubhouse will close from Monday 1 May and reopen for the summer season on Friday 26 May.

We also have some music accompanying Thursday’s Three-for-Three and Friday’s paella night from Melvil who will be playing their eclectic acoustic lounge set live at The Clubhouse.

Room availability
We still have some availability in April. Prices online have been reduced for some last-minute get-aways. Examples of some Spring deals include:

  • Sun 23 – Wed 26 April
    The Myla suite is available for a three night stay for just €575. This is inclusive of breakfast and dinner. 
  • Sun 23 – Sun 30 April
    Bunker 6 is available for the full week and sleeps six/seven. The cost is €2,350 inclusive of breakfast and dinner.

Flights
Flights are becoming more reasonable, especially through EasyJet and BA. FlyGlobeSpan have now stopped their Stansted - Geneva flight

Secret Alpine Base
We sent you a link to this image in the last newsletter and you should also be getting a postcard soon. We tried to do framed versions but it all got too complicated so we’re now just offering a limited edition of 100 unframed, individually signed and numbered prints for £45 or 65€ each for collection from Milk & Honey or The Clubhouse. We can post them if you prefer but p&p will be a little extra. Please email kirsten@clubhouse.fr if you are interested in buying one of these prints.
