The new winter season is fast approaching at The Clubhouse with temperatures and new snow falling fast with almost a metre of fresh powder on the ground in town. Conditions high up are already excellent. We ventured out last weekend and haven’t seen a November like it for some time. Good signs for a superb season, fingers crossed. Grand Montets will open partially this weekend (29th/30th Nov) and Le Tour/Le Balme the following weekend.   OPENING PARTY Every year we have an opening party and this year is no different. Our annual winter opening party is on Thursday 04 December and will include the usual array of free drinks, and one of our snow BBQs for only 7€. Everything kicks off at 7pm and food will be available until 9.30pm. Please RSVP to Sandie if you’d like to come.   AVAILABILITY We’ve still got some rooms available for the Christmas and New Year weeks while everyone works out what’s happening with the weather (looking great) and the economy (not looking so great) if you’re still looking to get away. Please contact Sandie to find out more or to book.   CHRISTMAS DAY and NEW YEAR’S EVE If you’ve not sorted out your plans for Christmas Day dining yet we are now taking bookings for our traditional Christmas Day Feast. It will be the usual long and leisurely affair with all the trimmings from 4pm to make sure you can still get a few hours on the mountain to work up an appetite. On New Year’s Eve we’re doing a five course dinner from 7pm (at 100€ per head) for just 35 guests or bar tickets from 10.30pm (at 25€ per head). To book your places for dinner or for the bar please contact Sandie. If you have any room left and can get out of bed, our New Year’s Day Recovery Roast might be the only thing worth getting up for.
