We’ve had a very busy season at The Clubhouse so far and it seems that many of you aren’t giving up your skiing holiday just yet and no matter what’s going on with the economy. The next few weeks are generally a little quieter on the slopes and are by far our favourite time. We’ve had the coldest start to the season in 5 years, we’ve got snow all this week and conditions are great throughout the valley. Weak sterling aside, it’s a great time to be on the mountain.
Latest snow news just in this morning – 10 inches of fresh, powdery, lovely new snow in Chamonix at the moment. Nice. |

| WHAT`S ON AT THE CLUBHOUSE |

| We’re having a party on Tuesday 02 February and some special guests - 12 of the best of our London bartenders will be joining us. So with some great drinks from these guys and gals and some tunes from DJ Uncle Joe from 9-2am expect an extra special cocktail-tinged night. |

Burns Night - Following the success of last year’s event the Tourist Office is holding its second international Burns Night on Friday 23 January at the Espace Best Mont-Blanc in Chamonix. |

Freeride World Tour - The World Freeride tour qualifiers take place on Sat-Thu 14-19 February at Brevent. For the first time, male and female skiers and snowboarders are touring the world together to win the World Championship title. It’s a great spectator event if you are in town that weekend. |

Winter Sessions - Our good friend Gilles Peterson will be rocking it up in Chamonix with a live gig on Wednesday 18 February - more to follow on this in our next newsletter. |
