20 January
2006
This is the third letter of the season from The Clubhouse. If you‘ve missed the others, you can find them here.
New snow
coming January is
almost over and we’re looking forward to some more sunny days ahead but
first of all we’re looking forward to some more snow. And it’s coming
soon. Have a look at MetCheck
for details.
This year the pattern seems to be – a huge dump that
lasts three or four days (when it just snows non-stop) followed by a week
or so of nothing but sunshine. This means there’s plenty of snow on the
pistes (and everywhere in the valley the conditions are still good apart
from possibly Le Tour where the wind hasn’t helped) with clear skies and
good light, no lift or food queues and free runs all day long. But the
off-piste gets skied out quickly and we’re looking forward to the next
fresh fall.
New food at The
Clubhouse We’ve changed
things a bit on Sundays because we listened to what you wanted. We’ve
dropped the tartiflette and from now on Sundays will be what they were
meant for – Sunday roast. Depending on what our chef decides we’ll be
serving chicken, lamb, beef or pork with some great spuds and veg and the
world’s best gravy. This will all happen between 4 and 8pm every Sunday.
Booking advised on +33 (0)4 50 90 96 56 and it will cost you just €20
including dessert.
More from us
in a couple of weeks.
